This week’s prompt: A cheater starts a journal to keep track of their deceit.
This is a different idea! Why would the cheater start the journal? What would happen if someone found the journal? Would the cheater be forced to commit a crime to cover the discovery up?

The cheater must be a writer who likes to document his/her exploits. Otherwise, keeping a record would be as foolish as cheating. If someone found the journal, the cheater would simply blackmail them into silence.

Do you mean someone who likes to journal? That was my thought. And yes, the cheater probably would try to blackmail the one who found the journal. 🙂
